M1938 Canvas Leggings (pair)

Original M1938 dismounted canvas leggings in good condition. With date and makers stamps. Complete and ready to wear. The leggins are made from heavy cotton canvas, kept on with a fabric string and fasterners.

The M1938 Leggings are desinged to cover GI's boots from the ankle up to prevent snagging and keep stones, mud, etc from getting inside the soldier's boots, and to provide some ankle support. They are often referred to as gaiters or spats.

These leggins are size 3R. If you require a larger size we have some reproduction leggins code SKU1054 which are size 4R.
